Ramon Guillermo is a Professor at the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature (DFPP), University of the Philippines Diliman. He has written several books, which include the novel Ang Makina ni Mang Turing, Translation and Revolution: A Study of Jose Rizal’s Guillermo Tell, and Pook at Paninidigan: Kritika ng Pantayong Pananaw. His areas of expertise include digital corpus-based lexicography and computer-aided translation analysis. He obtained his PhD in Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Hamburg, Germany.
