Technologies in Teaching and Learning | Dr. Ria Mae Borromeo

In collaboration with Commission on Higher Education and University of the Philippines Open University, the Gearing Up for the Next Normal: Training of Teachers on Flexible Learning series is gathering practitioners to garner training on flexible learning. For the seventh module “Technologies in Teaching and Learning,” Dr. Ria Mae Borromeo is the speaker; She is an assistant professor and director of the UPOU Information and Communication Technology Development Office. Borromeo introduced technologies that practitioners can also use in teaching students in the next normal amid COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Borromeo reiterated that the focus should be on pedagogy and learning, rather than technology. Additionally, Dr. Borromeo briefly gave tutorials on how to screen record using Powerpoint, add narration in PPTs, voice recording using smartphone, record lecture via Zoom and a quick guide for making eBooks.
