OPEN Talk: Integrasyon ng Katutubong Kaalaman sa Iba’t Ibang Disiplina

In this episode of OPEN TALK, Dr. Raymundo D. Rovillos and Dr. Mary Jane B. Rodriguez-Tatel dissected information on integrating indigenous knowledge to different disciplines. In this episode, the resource speakers focused on how Filipinos can integrate indigenous knowledge to most disciplines within the society. Rovillos emphasized that integration is just a singular perspective to the latter. Also, Rodriguez-Tatel mentioned the problematic notion of the IPs, setting them apart through categorization which opposes the purpose of integration. She also added that it is best to know more of the rooted culture and seek ways to maximize the society’s consciousness concerning the matter.
