I really salute to those people who really did their job with passion. It is not easy to do this case especially if the parents are not cooperating. It’s not enough for just the neighbours, social workers and other concern people because the child will always look for the love and attention of his parents. A helping hand can change one’s mental look to life.
Ano kaya ang ginagawa sa shelter at tumitino naman si Makoy?
I had a similar case of Makoy’s story in my class. Every possible means of redirecting him in all aspect of life seems so hard at first… But then no one could better understand a child but a mother alone and a teacher who’s the second mother at school.
Now he transferred out of school and went back to his mother in Manila.. I hope everything is going great for him.
The barangay worker concern for the troubled child is admiring. How the case was handled I think was on point as to what is available resources and followed steps as social welfare guidelines. I agree with her about the lack of moral support for the child specially emotional as they were still young to know how to handle emotional problem pertaining to their family.
