Dr. Cecilia Conaco
DR. CECILIA CONACO is currently an Assistant Professor at the Marine Science Institute, UP Diliman, and the Deputy Director of the Bolinao Marine Laboratory in Pangasinan. She finished her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the Stony Brook University in New York (2007), and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Neuroscience Research Institute, University of California, Santa Barbara. Her research interests include genome evolution, gene expression dynamics, and the mechanisms that determine how marine organisms sense and interest with their environment.
