OPEN Talk: Creating a Culture of Openness in Education

 In this episode of OPEN Talk, Dr. Grace Javier Alfonso and Dr. Ethel Agnes P. Valenzuela tackled, “Creating a Culture of Openness in Education.” They expressed the development of a culture of openness in education, especially the distance-learning before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. The hybrid nature of online and distance e-learning (ODeL) as well as the curated modes: flexible, remote and blended learning gave the education sector the time to go through experimenting for efficient learning during the pandemic. Dr. Alfonso also emphasized the tech-savvy characteristic of most Filipinos, paving a pathway to implement online learning.
