OPEN Talk: Wikang Filipino sa Panahon ng Internasyonalisasyon ng Edukasyon

In this episode of OPEN Talk, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gerard P. Concepcion and Asst. Prof. Deborrah S. Anastacio explored the situation of the Filipino language in the time of education’s internationalization. As the education sector of the country slowly adapts to universal guidelines, the Filipino language is still raising itself in different ways. Dr. Concepcion observed how his class was divided by their insights on Filipino: valued as a minor subject of their curriculum or viewing Filipino as a thriving language. Additionally, Asst. Prof. Anastacio shared that even in the internationalization of education, the Filipino language is still influential and attracts scholars, whether Filipino or foreign students.
