Climate Action Internship | Ms. Marie Cris Edquila

In her presentation, Ms. Marie Cris Edquila shares her experience as an intern for Worldwide Teach-in Philippines, which virtually initiates climate action. She briefly tells her motivations to pursue this internship: hone skills and manage social media platforms, in a way that everyone will support the climate justice advocacy. She became a part of the organization’s Twitter Team. Worldwide Teach-ins Philippines launched several Twitter series such as #TruthThursday and #FilmFriday. She ends by asserting that we must acknowledge the need for climate justice discussion to be interdisciplinary as to how she observed the camaraderie between like-minded people in their respective fields, and these people truly care about the cause.
