Dr. Raul V. Destura
Dr. Raul V. Destura is the current Director for Health of the Philippine Genome Center, Co-chair of the NIH Building Committee, and Medical Sciences Division Chair of the National Research Council of the Philippines, DOST. He has undergone several post-graduate internships and trainings such as fellowships in the University of the Philippines Manila and the University of Virginia, which helped him produce numerous papers, articles, and researches as an expert in the field of health and biotechnology.
“Lab in a Mug” is a project that has earned him recognition in the inter-academy medical panel during the World Health Summit in Berlin.
